Our Story
Established in 2011, GB Land Engineering Limited (GBLE) was formed to deliver expert Ground Engineering and Geotechnical Services to public and private sector clients using our extensive fleet of specialist drilling rigs and grouting equipment.
In the past few years, GBLE has diversified into specialist sectors of the drilling industry using a wide range of drilling methods and techniques made possible by our acquisition of key pieces of equipment.
GBLE has the in-house capability for co-ordinated surveying and setting out, utilising the latest GPS/Auto-CAD software. We also use a digital borehole logging system (HoleBASE), which helps us stay in control of Geotechnical project data by streamlining factual reporting throughout every stage of our site investigation.
GBLE places Health and Safety at the forefront of all operations. The company is expanding and working towards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 certification to add to our key accreditations.
Qualified and Experienced
As a company-wide standard, we are proud to offer training for our employees so they can gain the following qualifications:
- Management – NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Management and S.M.S.T.S.
- Sub Agents / Foremen – NVQ Level 3 Occupational Works Supervisor and S.S.S.T.S.
- Drilling Operatives – NVQ Level 2 Land Drilling
All of our workforce carry correct and up to date CSCS and CPCS qualifications over a vast range of activities and are able to use, for example:
Telescopic Handlers, 360° Excavators and be trained in CAT and Genny, Confined Spaces, New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA), First Aid and Safety Harness awareness.
We also have our own transport fleet to supply the appropriate machinery to our projects without delay.
We will continue developing our services to satisfy and comply with our client’s requirements on all aspects of our work to maintain our already established position within the Geotechnical market.
